Textile artist and fashion designer

Queenie is a textile and fashion designer who focuses on transforming discarded textiles into expressive, wearable art through handweaving, patchwork, and garment construction. She is drawn to the hidden narratives within materials and the creative challenge of reimagining them into something entirely new.

With a background in both traditional and experimental techniques, Queenie approaches each piece as a combination of design and storytelling. She is passionate about pushing the boundaries of fashion by incorporating structure with spontaneity and concept with craftsmanship.

Queenie is currently completing her Bachelor of Design (BDes) at OCAD University, where she has developed a strong foundation in textiles, sustainability, and creative direction.
